What’s up with the UMC on this weekend before the Climate Summit in Paris?

I’d like an update from UMNS (United Methodist News Service) on the article from about 6 weeks ago, looking forward to the Paris Climate ( #COP21 ) talks (http://www.umc.org/news-and-media/seeking-climate-justice-in-pariss) Yesterday and today, there were marches held to call to account the Paris COP21 meetings to hear the world’s people and resist the accomodation of corporations and the Fossil Fuel industry. I was unable to find that article link here in the Facebook stream, as there appears to be a huge gap in posting during the time when that article appeared on the Web, and due to UMC.org’s policy of closing comments after only 7 days, I was unable to post anything in reply, having missed that article when it appeared on Oct. 7. Now that there are actions all over the world, and the Paris authorities have disallowed marches in Paris, due to the heightened tensions recently, I think it is important for the UMC to ramp up its coverage of what is at stake here. I don’t hold any real confidence that the meetings themselves will yield anything as substantial as we need, but the movements of the masses will speak loudly, and even the failures to come up with strong enough worldwide governmental action will perhaps mobilize the people even more. This is the basis of my hope, that the Spirit will speak to the churches in these moments.
