RT @JeffSharlet: What’s going on @nprnews @npratc?…
What’s going on @nprnews @npratc? Led w/ “more violent protests.” That’s at best misleading, if not plain wrong and irresponsible.

has facebook/Hootsuite API cut me off AGAIN? I have not been posting repeat posts. Maybe too many in a short period of time?
3rd [part of prev 2: INstead, they turn on the entire protest and say it cant happen because “some will take advantage”. Sounds familiar.
2 of 2: and deal with the perps and continue letting the protest happen? If they are “for 1st amendment”, why don’t they PROTECT that?
If the Molotov cocktails are “on the periphery, so thats why people arent seeing them”, then why not move as police TO THAT location 1 of 2
The main concern here is “narrative”, and the media does #Ferguson no favors by helping to uncritically advance the narrative of the police
No way of verifying the negative, that there havent been. But remain suspicious of the hyperbole underway that suggests it is prevalent
Even if actual fact was that there’s been at least 1, media keeps mentioning it & continue to do so absent verification by eyewitnesses
With the number of times media lists that as “going on”, it would seem that SOMEONE on the ground would give an eyewitness account.
