Need Blog This bookmarklet for Chrome

by Theoblogical on November 9, 2009

I am getting more impatient with Google (or plugin writers)  failing to give usa way to send selected text on a web page to a blog editor for use in a blog post.  Now that I have installed Chrome on my netbook,  which I use when away from my desk,  like now, at Starbucks,  it is my default browser.  I can change that, and probably will in just a minute, because of this problem.

I look constantly at Tweetdeck,  and when I click a link someone has given,  it opens (right now in Chrome).  But I habitually highlight something I want to blog about,  and am constantly frustrated when I realize I am in Chrome,  from where I cannot do the “send to blog post” thing that the “Blog This” bookmarklets allow me to do (which I have in both FF and IE) that open a LiveWriter instance with highlighted text already marked up as a quote,  and the link to the source,  and a default title (which I usually change to what I need,  complete with whatever hashtags and within the 140 char limit,  since it will then be auto tweeted.

WHEN Google Chrome?   When?   Argghhhh!
