Entering the Stream of Inexhaustible Life at inward/outward

April 14, 2007 By: Theoblogical Category: Uncategorized

Gordon Cosby,  from a sermon in 1986, via inward/outward:

Give yourself to whatever is the special area of your own creativity. And if people do not understand, then simply know that it is their problem and not yours. Know that you must do it, else you will be angry.

Who knows what anger lurks within,  at an unknown level of depth for the surface?  I also have heard that anger begets depression.  Anger turned inward,  bottled up.  But that problem itself works to prevent us from the nurture of that special area of creativity.

Hat tip to Matt who found this one:

Google TiSP (BETA) is a fully functional, end-to-end system that provides in-home wireless access by connecting your commode-based TiSP wireless router to one of thousands of TiSP Access Nodes via fiber-optic cable strung through your local municipal sewage lines

My comment to Matt:  “Maybe they can call this “TC-PP”?  Or “TC-when I PP”?

reviewjournal.com — News – Obama won’t attend Carson City forum

February 17, 2007 By: Theoblogical Category: Uncategorized

This doesn’t look so good,  and sadly just fits the impression I’ve been getting from elsewhere.  I have a friend who heard about a  visit with Obama about support for a certain non-partisan issue,  who came away disappointed, with the impression that  Obama cared more about “becoming president” than he did for the “things than can/should be done”.  This story lends a great deal of further credibility to that impression.  Seems Obama is passing on a forum of candidates to attend a “Dreamworks” Hollywood bash (which he wouldn’t even have to miss to attend the forum).

Upgrading tonight

February 15, 2007 By: Theoblogical Category: Uncategorized

There will be some downtime sometime tonight,  as my host moves my files and data to a new server,  so I can upgarde another of my apps to an ASP.Net 2.0 version,  so they have put me on a Windows 2003 server.   So expect some down time,  although it’s late.  Hopefully all will go well.  File and folder permissions is always the tricky part.
