I like watching Real Time with Bill Maher.  I enjoy the panel discussions and the politics, and I usually find him funny,  but there are exceptions. His comments and viewson religion in general,  but specifically on Islam,  which he constantly claims that the “mainstream belief” of Muslims is Jihadist.  The classic fallacy here is to blame the actions on the religious component, rather than the any of the  cultural components that are shared by Muslims and Non-Muslims alike,  and which the Non-Muslims also are found particpating.  This seems to elude folks like Maher and Sam Harris,  who is a much -quoted and read “guru” of the “New Atheist” movement.
