This clip from the Smiley/West appearance on Morning Joe is what I think to be an important “elaboration” for #OWS:

This ending to the segment (before Joe starts in on his “can I hear an “Amen” riff,  is something that surprised me to hear Joe express about young evangelicals….although I was not sure if 1994 and 2000 were supposed to be a contrast or what;  he said in 94 young evangelicals wanted to talk about social issues,  and in 2000,  they wanted to talk about Matthew 25.  It seems to me Mt 25  IS a big social issue.
