Every time I hear Mike Huckabee say he is “100% pro-life”. Sorry . He is not. And its the same for 99% of the people who SAY they are pro-life. Most are the last to oppose an option for war. WAR, the quintessential “convenient” and “effective” and “pragmatic” choice for every conflict or disagreement. This is the accusation leveled at “woman’s right to choose” folks (and most of the time, this accusation is spot on), but war in Iraq has killed thousands, many of them children. “Pro-lifers” are but another stripe of nationalism and ignore the effects of war if its not affecting “us”, meaning the United States citizenry.
